Apply Today! Microgrants Available for DC CFAR Investigator Members

DC CFAR Investigator Members are invited to apply for funding through the microgrant program. This program awards grants up to $2,500 to cover the costs associated with the use of select DC CFAR core services for any full investigator CFAR member, as well as publication fees, poster printing, and travel to scientific conferences for DC CFAR Pilot Awards and NIH CFAR Administrative Supplements recipients - see below for more information.

Core Service Microgrants
These microgrants are provided to full CFAR investigators to access services offered by the Scientific Cores who will contribute to generating preliminary findings that may strengthen future applications to the DC CFAR Pilot Awards Program or to NIH directly. Types of services that are eligible to be covered through this mechanism include, but are not limited to, laboratory services and specimen acquisition and shipping. Microgrants of up to $5,000 are available for gene sequencing lab services only.

Publication, Poster Printing and Scientific Travel Microgrants
These microgrants are provided to DC CFAR Pilot Awards and NIH CFAR Administrative Supplements recipients to facilitate the publishing of and presentation of their study results.

Interested Applicants
Interested applicants are encouraged to complete the Microgrant Eligibility Form to confirm eligibility and to assess the appropriateness of this mechanism for the funding request. Further awards details and an application form will be sent to eligible applicants.
