George Kerr and Kenya Hutton

Please join us in congratulating DC CFAR CAB members George Kerr and Kenya Hutton on receiving a grant from the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) at DC Health to implement Building Rhythm thru Recovery (BRTR), an Opioid Use Disorder education and training program at Westminster Presbyterian Church! In partnership with Family Medical Counseling Services, Southwest Renaissance Development Corporation, and the Leadership Council for Healthy Communities, BTBR will include 15 events and reach 800 individuals.

The District's Opioid Response initiative is focused on addressing the unmet needs and reducing opioid overdose-related deaths in DC through the provision of prevention, treatment, and recovery support services -- the community of faith-based institutions is integral to these efforts.
