HIV Persistence & Cure SWG Seminars

The HIV Persistence & Cure SWG provides a forum to promote scientific discovery in HIV cure research along with supporting early-stage investigators in HIV cure research. Below are recent seminars from the SWG. 

January 2026

On January 29th, 2026 the DC CFAR HIV Persistence and Cure Scientific Working Group (HPC SWG) and the Clinical & Population Sciences Core held a special joint CPS Core Conversation, featuring Dr. Trevor Crowell for his presentation entitled, "Leveraging early antiretroviral therapy to facilitate HIV remission.”

January 2025

On February 24th, the HPC SWG and the Women and HIV SIG held a special joint seminar featuring Dr. Nadia Roan. Dr. Roan's talk was entitled, "Understanding, targeting, and silencing the active HIV reservoir."
