Women and HIV SIG
The Women and HIV Scientific Interest Group provides a forum to raise the visibility of girls and women and promote collaborations and disseminate research on HIV and women. The interest group also supports continued research on female-controlled HIV prevention methods across the translational spectrum, including basic and clinical research to implementation research to ensure equitable access to proven prevention modalities.
The Women and HIV SIG is co-led by Drs. Rachel Scott (GU) and Mimi Ghosh (GW), with Community Co-Leads Ms. J'Mia Edwards (MedStar) and Ms. Tranessa Hanson (MedStar)
