Please join us in congratulating DC CFAR HIV Cure SWG community lead, Mr. Cheriko (Riko) Boone (GW), who was recently chosen to be a member of The George Washington University chapter of the Edward Alexander Bouchet Graduate Honor Society. Riko and other honorees will be recognized at the GW Bouchet Lecture and Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, March 5, at 4:00 p.m. in the Amphitheater of the GW Marvin Center.
The Bouchet Honor Society is named after Edward Alexander Bouchet, the first self-identified African American to earn a doctorate from an American university. Bouchet Society promotes diversity and excellence in doctoral education along with forming a network of preeminent scholars.
