The DC CFAR Welcomes a New Scientific Specialist: Brandi Robinson

August 03, 2016
Please join us in welcoming Brandi Robinson to the DC CFAR staff as the new Scientific Specialist. In this role, Ms. Robinson will support the Pilot Awards Programs, track outcomes, and support early stage investigators as they apply for NIH grants in HIV. Ms. Robinson was most recently a program manager for MedStar Health Research Institute (MHRI), where she managed breast cancer disparities research studies across MedStar Health hospitals in the District of Columbia and Baltimore. Prior to working at MHRI, Ms. Robinson served as a program and policy analyst for Nemours, where she oversaw the efforts of a national program that promoted the work of integrated, mutlisector, place-based initiatives to improve the health and well-being of children.  Brandi Robinson received a master's degree in public health from The George Washington University.
Ms. Robinson has years of experience in program management and working to close health disparities gaps. She is excited to join DC CFAR to use her skills in relationship building and project oversight to support the Pilot Awards Program and Development Core.
