The Implementation Science Coordination, Consultation, and Collaboration Initiative (ISC3I) Summit was held in Chicago on October 28-29, 2019. DC CFAR Ending the HIV Epidemic Scientific Working Group (EHE SWG) leaders Dr. Amanda Castel (GW) and Ms. Marcia Ellis (DC CFAR);  EHE supplement project directors Drs. Adam Allston (DC Health), Brittani Saafir-Callaway (DC Health), Rupali Doshi (DC Health), Sarah Henn (WWH) and Carlos Rodriguez-Diaz (GW); and DC CFAR director Dr. Alan Greenberg (GW) participated in the summit.

The ISC3I was led by the Inter-CFAR Implementation Science Working Group (ISWG) to forge collaborations and strengthen shared knowledge across projects. The summit focused on implementation science and provided the first opportunity for all 65 NIH/NIMH funded teams to meet and collaborate. Participants learned about various implementation science frameworks and how to apply them to HIV. Project directors and their implementing partners worked throughout the meeting and in break-out sessions to apply these concepts to their specific projects. Officials from HHS, NIH, HRSA and CDC participated in the summit.
