Marcia Ellis, DC CFAR Community Coordinator and CAB Chair has been honored by the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) with their Bridget Murtagh Community Achievement Award.
This award was established to recognize members from each ACTG CAB who make a contribution to the work of the ACTG. Recipients of this award have demonstrated a dedicated commitment to volunteerism in the HIV community and/or ACTG CAB, dedication to the health and welfare of persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH), support and/or advancement of the understanding of clinical trials, and support for services that assist PLWH with care or prevention services.
