DC CFAR and the GW School of Public Health Citywide Seminar: Monkeypox in DC
The DC CFAR and the GW School of Public Health hosted a virtual Citywide Seminar on Monkeypox in DC. The goal of this virtual event was to bring researchers, community, and providers together to discuss Monkeypox in the District. GW SPH Dean Lynn Goldman moderated the discussion and provided opening remarks from the public health perspective. The seminar featured presentations from Dr. Anil Mangla from DC Health who provided the local health department perspective, Dr. Tara Palmore from the GW MFA provided a clinical perspective and DC CFAR Community Partnership Council Member Mr. Kenya Hutton provided a community perspective.
