We are pleased to announce the Fall 2019 round of the DC CFAR Pilot Awards Program. The goal of this program is to provide pilot research funds to early stage and new HIV/AIDS investigators to collect preliminary data that will enable them to then compete successfully for NIH funding in HIV/AIDS as principal investigators. Early Stage Investigators and New Investigators at the eight participating DC CFAR institutions who are full members of the DC CFAR are eligible to apply for up to $50,000 for one year. Applications should focus on the NIH high priority HIV/AIDS research areas and are strongly encouraged in the following DC CFAR priority areas:
- HIV Cure Research
- Ending the HIV Epidemic
- Drug User Health
- Women
- Aging
