We would like to inform the DC CFAR community that our wonderful Administrative Director, Dr. Jen Skillicorn, has accepted a new position as Lead Program Analyst for HIV/STI/Hepatitis & Healthcare Integration at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) - her last day with the DC CFAR will be March 11, 2016.  We are grateful for Jen's exceptional strategic thinking abilities, her superb communication skills, and her excellent stewardship of the DC CFAR.

Dr. Skillicorn began as the Executive Coordinator of the HIV/AIDS Institute in 2007, played an instrumental role in our successful D-CFAR and CFAR applications, and has served skillfully as the CFAR Administrative Director since 2010.   Along the way, she also successfully completed her DrPH in Health Policy at GW, and thus her new position at NACCHO will enable her to utilize her considerable health policy expertise at the doctoral level.

We are pleased to report that Ms. Rebecca Barasky has kindly agreed to serve as Interim Administrative Director while we begin the search process to identify Jen's successor.  The position has been posted and interested and qualified persons are encouraged to apply; information about the position can be found at https://www.gwu.jobs/postings/33240.

Please join us in thanking Jen for everything she has done to support the genesis and growth of the DC CFAR, and wishing her the best of success in this next stage of her exciting career.
