Executive Director, Metro TeenAIDS


Adam Tenner is the Executive Director of Metro TeenAIDS, one of very few organizations in the country that dvocate for the HIV-related needs of youth. He has worked and directed HIV/AIDS and youth programs for more than seventeen years. Adam has worked a variety of HIV prevention and adolescent health promotion capacities, including director of an adolescent health promotion program for homeless youth in Seattle, the HIV Prevention Planner for the Seattle - King County Health Department and as a consultant for youth programs, organizations and boards across the country. Adam has served our community as the Executive Director for Metro TeenAIDS since 2001.

Prior to joining Metro TeenAIDS as the Executive Director in 2001, he served as Interim Executive Director of the National Youth Advocacy Coalition, the only national organization of its kind, working to meet the needs of a growing lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth constituency and movement.
