DC CFAR Investigator, Dr. Seble Kassaye, Receives Promotion and Tenure at Georgetown University

We are pleased to announce that Seble Kassaye, MD, MS was recently promoted to the rank of associate professor with tenure in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
 
Dr. Kassaye is the Principal Investigator of the DC site of the Women's Interagency HIV Study (WIHS), a longitudinal cohort study of HIV infection in women.  She also leads the DC CFAR Women and HIV Scientific Interest Group (SIG). Previously, Dr. Kassaye was a recipient of a 2014 DC CFAR pilot award entitled, "HIV Transmission Dynamics and Drug Resistance in Washington, DC".
