Current HIV/AIDS-Related Research Activities:
Works on the following projects within the Women's Interagency HIV Study (WIHS): gut/cervical microbiome in HIV progression; the role of HPV type; immune status; cervical microbiome in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia-2 (CIN2); how patient-physicial trust and HIV-related myths affect long-term HIV viral suppression; the effect of health literacy and psycho social factors on long-term HIV viral suppression; and the immunomodulatory effects of pregnancy with HIV.
