Register today for the National CFAR Scientific Symposium to be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 8:00am - 4:30pm at the National Academy of Sciences. The theme for this year's meeting is "Conducting HIV Research in Partnership with Government and Community," with a focus on the research response to the domestic HIV epidemic. We are excited to announce that the program will feature plenary talks by Dr. Anthony Fauci (Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH) and Dr. Eugene McCray (Director of the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention, CDC).  The titles of their presentations are "Ending the HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Follow the Science" (Dr Fauci), and "Envisioning a Bolder Agenda for Implementation Research" (Dr. McCray). 

The symposium will also include four oral sessions entitled: HIV Cure Research, The Urban Epidemic, Health Inequities and Aging and Co-Morbidities. More details on the content of these sessions will be included in the Weekly Update in the coming weeks.
