Please join the DC CFAR Community Partnership Council's 9th Annual Community-wide Research Update on Thursday, May 13 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM ET. Historically co-sponsored by CABs from the VA, GWU, and other community partners, the goal of this virtual event is to bring the community of researchers, advocates, and providers together to discuss new findings from the 2021 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI). Experts will provide research updates and engage with the community on some of the latest findings, opportunities, and resources: Dr. Hana Akselrod (GW) will present on "COVID-19 Prevention and Treatment", Dr. Rupali Doshi (DC Health) on "HIV Viral Load Patterns Two Years After Diagnosis in DC" and Ms. Lynsay Ehui (WWH) and Dr. Namrata Shah (WWH) will co-present HIV Care and Treatment Updates from CROI. Ms. Martha Sichone-Cameron (ICW/NA and CPC member) will provide a community response. The virtual event will be moderated by DC CFAR Community Coordinator and CPC Chair Ms. Marcia Ellis and CPC Member Ms. Melissa Turner (VAMC). Register to receive log-in details.
