DC CFAR Basic Sciences Core Associate Director Dr. Alberto Bosque-Pardos (GW) and DC CFAR Investigator Dr. Amanda Macedo (GW) published an article in Frontiers in Immunology October 2019 entitled "Targeting Cellular and Tissue HIV Reservoirs With Toll-Like Receptor Agonists".

The authors conducted a comprehensive literature review focused on the development of toll-like receptors (TLR) agonists as latency-reversal agents (LRAs) and the potential use of these agonists towards HIV eradication purposes.
