Please join us for a new DC CFAR Developmental Core Lecture Series: My Path to Independence in HIV Research. Each hour-long lecture in this series will showcase prominent researchers from across the country and autobiographical accounts of their careers in HIV research, specifically their pathways to career and research independence.

Gallo, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Institute of Human Virology (IHV) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, recognized for his co-discovery of HIV as the cause of AIDS.
