Current HIV/AIDS Research Activities:
- Evaluating changes in syringe exchange policies and their impact on HIV prevention efforts for injection drug users
- Examining the impact of structural factors (such as housing availability) on access to services among injection drug users
- Examining linkage to and retention in HIV care among individuals returning to communities following incarceration
- Examining the sociocultural trajectories of substance use and addiction and how these factors increase HIV risk
