Current HIV/AIDS Research Activities:
- Examining the impact of racial discrimination and other social/environmental predictors of HIV-risk behavior (substance use and risky sexual behaviors).
- Researching potential protective mechanisms of the relation between racial discrimination and HIV-risk behaviors, including racial identity, racial socialization, good self-control, and stress-coping strategies.
