Current HIV/AIDS-Related Research Activities:

  • My aging research focuses on the development of chronic diseases, symptom management, and understanding how people are aging with HIV.

  • My social networking site data research utilizes the Twitter platform to support HIV prevention and surveillance.

Current HIV/AIDS-Related Educational Activities:

  • As a National Institute of Aging (NIA) 2022 Butler Williams Scholar, I will improve my understanding of the aging process and the differences in sub-populations of people aging with HIV.

  • As a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)-funded Sustained Training on Aging & HIV Research Scholar (STAHR), I explore neurocognitive and mental health impacts on older adults infected with HIV.
