- Understanding how traumatic life events and mental illness affect engagement in HIV care among people living with HIV in Washington, DC (Co-Investigator)
- PrEP Uptake among Latinx MSM in Washington, DC (Co-Investigator/Site Principal Investigator)
- Latinos living with HIV in DC: Exploring experiences in engagement and retention in care (Principal Investigator)
- The Development of Responsive Health Department HIV Data to Action Strategies through Community Engagement
Current HIV/AIDS-Related Service Activities:
- Member of the DC Center for AIDS Research Community Advisory Board
- Co-creator of "Cafecito a las tres:"“Cafecito a las tres” is envisioned as a space for voices of Latino/a/xs in the DMV around health, assuring these voices are an active part of current initiatives in research, engagement, and programming that can impact the experience and reception of sexual health care. The hope is that this group will grow to inform future research, program development, innovative initiatives, and supportive community spaces and networks around Latino/a/x health.
