Current HIV/AIDS-Related Research Activities:
Currently a MPI on an R01 "Perineuronal proteolysis and circuit dysfunction in HAND" with Dr. Kathy Conant. My lab focuses on the role of neuroinflammation in PNN integrity in a Tat rodent model and in primary cell culture. The goal is to better understand the role of glial-derived inflammation on neuronal function.
