Drug User Health SIG Virtual Citywide Seminar
Please join the Drug User Health Scientific Interest Group (SIG) for a virtual DC CFAR Citywide Seminar on "Evolving Priorities for Drug User Health" on Wed. April 13 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm ET.
The Citywide seminar will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Redonna K. Chandler, Director of the HIV Research Program and the HEALing Communities Study at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), on "Addressing Substance Use to End the HIV Epidemic".
The program will also include presentations from the local DC Community perspective by members of the Drug User Health SIG, including Dr. Sharon Hunt (State Opioid Treatment Authority, District of Columbia), Mr. Mark Robinson (Regional Syringe Service Program Coordinator, Family and Medical Counseling Service, Inc.), and Mx. Alexander/a Bradley (Outreach and Community Education Manager, HIPS). Additional details and a final agenda are forthcoming.
