Basic Sciences Core Virtual Open House

Please join the DC CFAR Basic Sciences Core for a Virtual Lab Open House on Friday, February 24 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm ET. The aim of the open house is to provide CFAR members from across disciplines an in-depth look at lab services available at the CFAR-affiliated institutions.

This event will feature a presentation by Dr. Amol Kulkarni. Dr. Kulkarni is an Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy at Howard University. He is a synthetic medicinal chemist, and his research is focused on preclinical drug discovery in the field of virology and immunology. Dr. Kulkarni will discuss his approach to new discovery for HIV and HIV-associated comorbidities.
