Basic Sciences Core Virtual Lab Open House on the Next-Generation Sequencing Lab
Please join the DC CFAR Basic Sciences Core for a Virtual Lab Open House on Friday, June 23, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm ET. The aim of the open house is to provide CFAR members from across disciplines an in-depth look at lab services available at the CFAR-affiliated institutions. This seminar will focus on the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) laboratory at George Washington University (GWU).
This event will feature Dr. Jeanne Jordan, Professor of Epidemiology at GWU, and Dr. Kamwing Jair, Research Scientist and NGS Specialist at GWU. Dr. Jordan will explain the structure, cost, facility, and instrumentation of the NGS service center and Dr. Jair will present the available services and ongoing projects.
