Pilot Awards Program

Dr. Randi Williams Liu has received a Traditional Pilot Award grant from the Fall 2023 Pilot Awards Cycle. Her research project entitled "Optimizing lung cancer control strategies for people with HIV."

Sarah Calabrese

Publications

Dr. Sarah Calabrese and colleagues recently published an article entitled "The Potential Role of Undetectable = Untransmittable (U = U) in Reducing HIV Stigma among Sexual Minority Men in the US."

Investigator Profiles

Dr. Thespina (Nina) Yamanis, is a Co-Director of the Social & Behavioral Sciences Core and the  incoming CFAR Adelante Scientific Officer. As an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs at American University School of International Service, she hopes to incorporate more community-led and community-engaged approaches into HIV research.
