NIH Awards Implementation Science Consultation Hub to the Mid-Atlantic CFAR Consortium Plus (MACC+)

The DC CFAR is pleased to announce that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded the "Mid-Atlantic CFAR Consortium Plus (MACC+) Implementation Science Consultation Hub: Methods, Mentorship, and Collaboration". The MACC+ will be led by Drs. Sheree Schwartz and Stefan Baral (Johns Hopkins CFAR) in collaboration with the DC CFAR Ending the HIV Epidemic Scientific Working Group Leaders, Dr. Amanda Castel (GW), Mr. Michael Kharfen (DC Health) and Ms. Marcia Ellis (DC CFAR), UPenn CFAR, the Center for Dissemination & Implementation at the Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Patrick Sullivan (Emory CFAR), and the Inter-CFAR Fellowship Alumni.
 
The MACC+ IS Hub will provide support on methods, mentorship and collaboration for the EHE supplement recipients. Dr. Schwartz provided a brief overview of the MACC+ IS Hub during the recent EHE Scientific Working Group IS Webinar Series. To view the recording of her presentation, please click here.
