CFAR ECHPP Initiative

Alan E. Greenberg, MD, MPH has been awarded a second parent award for the ECHPP Initiative. Dr. Greenberg is the Director of the DC D-CFAR and a Professor and Chair in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the George Washington University.

Targeting Protein Phosphatase-1 for Activation of Latent HIV-1 Provirus

Sergei Nekhai, PhD has received a NIH CFAR Administrative Supplement to study novel therapeutic approaches for latent HIV provirus. Dr. Nekhai is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Howard University.

Amanda D. Castel, MD, MPH has been awarded NIH CFAR Administrative Supplemental funding to continue work with the Department of Health in the district. Dr. Castel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the George Washington University.
