Current HIV/AIDS Research Activities:

  • Analyst for the DC Cohort, an NIH-funded logitudinal research project that will collect clinical data from approximately 10,000 consenting HIV-infected outpatients receiving care at 15 large treatment clinics in the District of Columbia.¬†
  • Served as the site coordinator for the GWU HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) Clinical Research Site. Research projects included: HPTN 083 (A phase 2b/3 Double Blind Efficacy Study Of Quarterly Injectable Cabotegravir Compared to Daily Oral Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate/Emtricitabine (Truvada), For Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis in HIV-Uninfected Men and Transgender Women Who Have Sex with Men) and HPTN 085 (A phase 2b study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of VRC01 broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibody in reducing acquisition of HIV-1 infection among men and transgender persons who have sex with men).
