Current HIV/AIDS Research Activities:

  • Principal Investigator Women's Interagency HIV Study - cohort study of women with and at risk for HIV
  • Epidemiologic and outcomes studies
  • Behavioral studies
  • Investigate co-morbidities associated with HIV

Current HIV/AIDS Educational Activities:

  • Frequent lecturer on women and HIV and pregnancy and HIV
  • Teach in the micro/immunology and pharmacology courses in the Georgetown University School of Medicine
  • Work with fellows and residents on HIV associated research projects

Current HIV/AIDS Clinical Activities:

  • Provide clinical care to women and men with HIV
  • Liaison with community based groups such as the Women's Collective

Current HIV/AIDS Service Activities:

  • Provide volunteer medical services at Gift of Peace (hospice for HIV) in NE Washington
  • Served as medical consultant to the Appleseed Project of the District of Columbia
  • Prior member of the Mayor's Advisory Committee on HIV/AIDS
