Drug User Health SIG

The Drug User Health SIG connects academic, government, and community members to improve HIV-associated health outcomes and other health-socio-economic issues commonly faced by people who use drugs (PWUD) in DC. The SIG meets with the objective of facilitating partnerships and to develop research that addresses issues relevant to PWUD health.

DC CFAR investigators Drs. Monica Ruiz (GW) and Irene Kuo (GW) serve as the Academic Leads and DC CFAR CPC Members George Kerr III and A. Toni Young serve as the Community Leads.
