Basic Sciences Core Virtual Research Day

Please save the date for the DC CFAR Basic Sciences Core Virtual Research Day on Friday, August 21 from 3:00-5:00 pm. This online event will feature presentations on current basic sciences HIV research and an overview of DC CFAR Basic Sciences Core services available to the DC CFAR research community.  

The virtual Research Day will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Ivan D'Orso, Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. D'Orso's talk will be followed by a series of presentations by DC CFAR Pilot Award recipients and HIV investigators at different stages in their careers whose work has been supported by the Basic Sciences Core.
